There will be over 16 food trucks participating so it could also be good networking for some people that work with small businesses.
THEY NEED HELP in the following areas:
prep the week of, serving at the event, food donations. They intend to cook for 400 people, traditional thanksgiving diner(this year, next year they can go larger if they have the turn out.) They will be advertising through flyers and contacting the media. They also have some members reaching out to Veterans Organizations and homeless shelters like the Colorado Coalition for additional reach. They are also doing a coat and blanket drive of which they have 10 large boxes that need to find homes in breweries and the like - please contact me if you know a location to drop a box at. Brad at the Denver Commissary will allow us to Prep at their facility. We will be asking for donations from food distributors to offset the cost of food which will also be done once trucks confirm. Colorado Food Trucks is donating many of the logistics items though we still need tables and chairs. "
