Want to work on craft or art projects, but don't have the space to set up your sewing machine? Want to make a mess with clay or paints indoors, when it's too cold to work outdoors? Or maybe you just want someone to chat with while cross-stitching, crocheting, sewing, or knitting? Bring your project, tools, easel, sewing machine, etc. and join us at Cabal Gallery for Queer Craft Night!
This is an affirmative space for all queer, trans, LGBTQ+ identities. Kid friendly event, however, there may be risqué, scary, or gory art on the walls depending on the current gallery exhibit. The art and conversation topics are not censored.
$5 Suggested donation, all donations go to support keeping Cabal Gallery open. BYO beverages, snacks, tools, supplies, or even bring supplies or a skill to share.
Parking: there is free street parking on Broadway and side streets. Unfortunately, there are no handicap parking spots, however, there are parking spots directly in front of the gallery entrance.
Accessibility: Cabal Gallery is on street level. The crafting tables and chairs are set up in the main gallery. There is one single stall, non-gendered bathroom on the main level that has a large slop sink that can be used to wash paint brushes, clay tools, etc.
