Monthly Denver Microcontroller/FPGA/Embedded system meetup

Our speaker for the December meetup will be John Doran, cofounder of Epilog Laser.  John will describe and show his microcontroller-based test set.  I'm working on scheduling more speakers for this and future meetings.  If you have anything that you'd like to show, feel free to bring it.

Location for today's meeting at 7:00pm today:
May Library. It is at the northwest corner of South Parker Road and East Florida Avenue. The address is 1475 S Parker Road.
    Here is a link to a map:,+Denver,+CO+80231/@39.689958,-104.8911959,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x876c7d754c24498b:0x234bded8c5cdb1b3
The discussion will be in "Study Room One"
We will discuss ways to renew some sort of meetup group that would interest people who were attracted to this (seemingly dormant) meetup.
I look forward to chatting with anyone who can make it.

    Please note:
Based on the lack of any communication from the official organizers of the current meetup group, it seem apparent that it is abandoned.

Shall we use the time slot on Wednesday, Sept 3rd- to explore options??

(Please click on the "discussion" option above and look at the thread discussing meetup venue etc)

I have reserved a meeting room for up to 6 people to coincide with the meeting slot set up for this current group.

I propose that people who may be following this discussion meet tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept 3) at 7:00pm, and chat about options to revive some sort of meetup related to Arduinos, Pi's etc.

The room I reserved is at the May Library at 1471 S Parker Rd. ("Study room #1")
    Room only holds 6!

Anyone interested and available to get together and discuss this?
Please say yes or no... If we don't have at least three people willing to talk about options, I can cancel the room reservation.
(again, the room only holds 6... )

A note to people who have signed up to come to this meeting. At this moment, there does not appear to be a meeting location. The one referenced above (on Vallejo) is not valid. Please take note of the discussion that Aakash Sahai started on the subject of a location. (You can click on the "Discussions" link at the top of this page, and then navigate: "General Discussion" -> "Ideas for new venue...")

The August meeting didn't really happen because the meeting location was closed. But a bunch of people showed up and are interested in this topic.
The search is in progress for a location for the September meeting. So WATCH THIS SPACE, because unless we hear from one of the official organizers, the location will be announced here in the comments rather than in the normal spot.
