Quantum Algorithms I

  • Cobalt Action @ 67

67 W Floyd Ave, Englewood, CO (map)

    39.656441 -104.988632

  • The Cobalt building has multiple doorways facing Floyd. "67" is roughly in the middle of the building. If you're having trouble finding us, call mike at: 720 * 939 * 5014
  • Our current plan is to alternate between discussing quantum information algorithms, and the hardware that these programs run on. On Nov 13th Piotr gave the first "hardware" lecture. This time we'll do the first meeting on algorithms.

We may start with Quantum Teleportation. But we'll make a final decision whether to go there or start with something more basic when the time comes.

In the meantime, if you're interested in participating in this, it would be a good idea to spend at least a little time reviewing these introductory notes, especially if you don't have any background in quantum information.

If you have any questions on the background material, or just want a little help understanding it, that can be arranged. You can email me questions, or if there's enough interest I'll set up a session to go through some of the concepts in person.
