She didn't forward the email to David, you accidentally sent that email to everyone in the group. Just wanted to point that out. 

But piggybacking, agents are the ones with connections, at least here in Hollywood where I live, so I don't agree with his point of view, unless you have those connections yourself, but even then, I still having an agent is the way to go. 

They know what producers are looking for. They also have that relationship to push your script. Why would a producer read your script over someone else's script when they've never heard of you. Aside from the fact that most producers, for legal reasons ,don't accept unsolicited scripts. I'm speaking Hollywood, of course. 

All the big writers still have agents, that should say it all :)

Anyway, don't hit reply, especially reply all, because then it's sent to everyone. 

Or just delete the address and replace it with her specific email just so this doesn't happen again.
