**About Story Channeler Meetup (the former Denver Screenwriters (DSW))**
A Storytelling Community. A Professional Level Resource. A Catalyst for Connecting to a Higher Plane.
Lead by a 30-year entertainment industry pro and professional psychic, this storytelling collective is dedicated to connecting and educating creatives on two fronts: improving their internal access to evolutionary tools, and helping get their stories to the page and to an audience.

An ideal place for:
· Writers of any medium / genre who find themselves blocked or conflicted about their passion for the written word.
· Writers of any medium / genre who want to improve their fundamental as well as advanced craft skills.
· Writers who wish to know how to connect with the marketplace and be a better production / publishing partner.
· Writers who know they have far greater creative capacity available, and wish to learn how to access it on an energetic level.
· Anyone who wishes to delve deeper into the energetic worlds of our creative selves, remove psychological and spiritual blocks, and provide for themselves a world of clarity, confidence, and support.
As a writer, StoryChanneler founder Trai Cartwright loved “losing time” when writing her books and screenplays, pouring out words for hours at a time. This was of course, a standard ability many creatives have: “connecting to the muse.”
But when she worked in Hollywood as a content creator and development executive, she realized she had the ability to breakdown scripts and find better ways to build them than her age or studies belied. As a college professor, she often found herself “losing time” in the classroom, delivering high level lectures without have prepared or practiced them in advance.
As Trai delved deeper into her psychic studies, beginning in 2019, she realized that the concept of “channeling the muse” was exactly what she was doing across many fronts. She was accessing wisdom and knowledge that existed on the etheric plane.
While Trai had always had the capacity to see dead people, she was now acquiring healing modalities and energy clearing capacities (some call it “leveling up”). Still, she is foremost a storyteller, and frames much of what she does on behalf of her fellow storytellers, so she finally made the connection that while many writers instinctively knew how to channel the muse for their stories, most were dealing with energetic and spiritual blocks that impeded their success – including, as it would turns out, her own.
It was time to level up some more!
After running the Denver Screen Writers Meetup for 3 years, catering solely to screenwriting, Trai decided to expand her offerings by providing teachings for:

StoryChanneler Meetup will features the following:
**Ø Story Breaking Sessions -** Writers will be chosen randomly to pitch their stories of any genre/medium to Trai and their fellow writers and we'll evaluate the strength of the character build and arcs, the plot, the themes, and so on. THE essential development tool to make your writing go smoothly!
**Ø** **Fiction** & **Screenwriting Classes -** Trai conducts monthly classes that cover craft elements (ie, character build, structure, theme, narrative, etc. etc.) as well as business (ie, hacking Hollywood, entering the publishing landscape, designing pitch materials, etc. etc.).
**Ø** **Intuition Evolution –** What’s modern life without some mention of the spirit realm’s ability to help us on this plane of existence? Everything from meditation / prayer to picking up that penny in the parking lot, from speaking to your guides to journaling your dreams, it’s all part of living at a energetic level. Trai will teach classes around enhancing to your intuition, meditations into your own personal story realm, improving boundaries and protections, and of course, removing blocks – like writers block!
**Ø Table Read Workshops** - Screenwriters will bring up to 8 pages of their scripts, cast it among the attendees, and receive a live table read and 20 minutes of workshop of what's working and what can be improved upon.
**Ø Craftwrite & Story Channeler Discounts -** Trai will also be offering to the public 6 and 8 week classes across a wide expanse of topics (she basically taught a low-cost MFA during the pandemic sequester!), and she has an editorial business that has helped hundreds of writers get their projects in shape for contests, fellowships, and pitching to agents, producers, and publishers. SCM members will receive a 10% discount to all Trai’s Services.
**MEMBERSHIP FEES**
**The SCM $25.00 annual fee is for access to this plethora of classes and workshopping opportunities. Please note these fees are mainly directed at maintaining the Meetup website – turns out, Meetup charges.**
