We plan on doing a ten-minute talk on 360 video production and how to get the videos to play on YouTube and VR devices.
Kevin Keables is doing our VR Holiday card this year in Unity and it should be done by the beginning of December. If you'd like to see last years you can download it at http://cablecenter.org/holidaycard/2015/ and view the 2D WebGL version.
We've purchased a PixPro 360 video camera and have added an example to out VR Exhibit. Come check it out. The video is similar to The Lab's video that looks like a ball or globe. You grab the video and place it on your face and suddenly you're inside of the video (Kuddos to Gregg Hardie for figuring this out).
In a month or so we should have an even better 360 video camera called the Orah. The Orah does 360 live video streaming as well.
Let's meet and discuss latest developments as well as see demos.
We are very interested in the local community and are considering a VR Expo at The Cable Center. We are imagining the Great Hall with rental booths and talks given in the theater about VR.
Let's jumpstart a vibrant and local VR business community!
