Dale Ball is bringing her Easy Cheesy workshop to our monthly potluck! Learn a few easy tips and tricks in making your own vegan cheesiness with simple, readily available ingredients. We will make a no-cook mozzarella with cashews (and a surprise ingredient!) in a blender, perfect for topping pizzas, in quesadillas, and casseroles, or even salads. And who doesn't need a super versatile, velvety smooth cheddary sauce recipe for everything from mac n cheese, to steamed veggies and potatoes, to nacho dip?
If you wish to attend the potluck portion only, we will gather at 6:00 as usual (there will be freshly-made vegan cheese to sample!)
POTLUCK - What to Bring:
• A vegan, gluten-free vegan, or raw-vegan dish (All vegan please: no meat, bacon, eggs, poultry, fish, dairy or honey) that serves 8 with a recipe card or list of ingredients. If you do not know what to bring, please contact Denver Vegans leadership.
• Your own utensils and reusable place setting
• $2.00 cash fee to cover our rental space
We gather at 6:00 PM and eat at 6:30 PM. Rocky Mountain Miracle Center is convenient by car from I-25, as well as accessible by RTD bus (Route #40) and light rail (Colorado Blvd. station). For those who are new to veganism, welcome! this is a great opportunity to get to know others in the group.
