Come join us for a great fellowship and service at the Denver Church of Christ, bring your kids for age group based classes!
To Know God and make Him Known
We do this through inspirational and practical preaching.
Neighborhood small group bible studies, that we call family groups.
And one another relationships to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
After 6 months of plans, prayers and preparations, Connections Church is open! We are at 2121 Dad Clark Drive. The former Horizon Church building.
Our hope is to reach new people for Jesus. If you have a home church, great. Please pray for us. If you are new to the area, looking for a church on a mission, please visit us. We're biased, but we think God is doing some amazing things here!
Our motto, "Love God. Love people. Do something." That means we focus on a worship service that communicates gospel and glorifies God. We invite people to get into a Group. And we encourage everyone to serve on a team in our church or in the community.

• What to bring
• Important to know
We begin the evening with setup at 5:30pm if you can arrive a little early. (See Ann for where to help). Bring a dish to share with a Thanksgiving theme by 6:00pm. (Suggestions on what to bring listed below). We have done this event for the last 3 years, and we have so much fun! It is usually our biggest pot luck of the year, with a little slide show followed by filling shoe boxes that go to the children we visit each year. We usually do[masked] shoe boxes, and this year we will do 150! Some shoeboxes go to the local orphanage, and others go to one of the pastors we support each year for children in their congregation. They will send photos of the children receiving their boxes! Many of the children are living in 3rd world poverty conditions, and this could be the only time they get a gift like this!
You have been so generous in the past, and it is time to step up again! Ann has purchased some of the items we need, so you can contribute cash or an item! We still need A LOT of items to fill the boxes, so please sign up TODAY so Ann can plan on your attendance and what you are bringing! PLEASE RSVP your attendance here. THEN, go to find the list of needed items on SignUp Genius. Here is the link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4facac23a5f49-christmas1. When you sign up here, it tells everyone what you are bringing so we don’t duplicate but instead fill the gaps, so please us this if possible. Please bring items from the list or pay at the door for the pre-purchased items.
Suggested potluck item to bring by letter of your first name: (Thanksgiving theme).
A-G – Main dish plate or crock pot
H-M – Vegetable
N-R - Fruit
S - Bread
T-Z – Dessert
If you don’t like your potluck item, just bring what you like! We are happy you are attending!
Questions? Contact Ann at [masked].
We will try to have carts to carry in crockpots, so pull up front with any heavy items.
All-Stars Club is a faith-based sports ministry serving our friends with special needs. We offer monthly respite nights for the parents/caretakers of individuals with special needs by hosting events where their all-star can play adaptive sports, sing karaoke, do arts & crafts and have fun!!! We end our nights with worship time and a sermon. As a buddy to our all-stars, you will be helping them engage in the various activities we have going on and get to be a kid again by participating with them and having a good time. We don't require you to have any prior experience working with special needs. If you would like to join us - please sign up at www.allstarsclub.org/camps
We will begin our Bible Study Series from the God's word on the topics:
"Discovering Your Purpose"
"Developing Your Gifts"
"Deploying Your Dreams"
Be sure to bring your Bible, a notepad or writing device to take notes.
Remember to share and invite a friend, college or family member.
We look forward to studying and applying the Word of God to our daily lives. Hebrews 4:12 says: "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
