Our groups strive to help the members connect with each other, with the rest of the world and help them improve their quality of life, while remembering that it is through our connection with other people that we find that enjoyable life. Our regular groups that meet are on the topics of: Grief processing, marriage counseling, building better relationships and mind-body connection therapy. Men's and women's and young adult and youth bible studies are available through Crossroads Church of Denver as well. Our groups primarily run Fall through Spring, however, if there is enough response, summer groups will be offered as well. If you have a topic that you would like to see the counseling center offer, please put it in the group discussion section. Also, visit us on Facebook and see announcements, interesting psychological articles and for individual counseling, visit us online at http://70westcounseling.com .

To Know God and make Him Known
We do this through inspirational and practical preaching.
Neighborhood small group bible studies, that we call family groups.
And one another relationships to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
After 6 months of plans, prayers and preparations, Connections Church is open! We are at 2121 Dad Clark Drive. The former Horizon Church building.
Our hope is to reach new people for Jesus. If you have a home church, great. Please pray for us. If you are new to the area, looking for a church on a mission, please visit us. We're biased, but we think God is doing some amazing things here!
Our motto, "Love God. Love people. Do something." That means we focus on a worship service that communicates gospel and glorifies God. We invite people to get into a Group. And we encourage everyone to serve on a team in our church or in the community.

We meet around 6:45pm EVERY Friday Night. Once most people arrive, we pray, set up, and then serve the homeless. We "go mobile" through the use of wagons. We meet next to Samaritan House, 2300 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205 (Larimer & Park Ave), Denver, CO. Plan to park off Park Avenue and Larimer, at the parking meters next to Samaritan House. You can look for a RED Jeep liberty, and ask for DuWayne or Christina. You will need $2 for meter parking. You can use your credit card OR bring quarters/change.
Our dinner menu changes from week to week but feel free to bring any type of single serving packaged snack (assorted nuts, pop tarts, cookies, granola bars, donuts, pastries, cereal divided into snack bags, etc.) If anyone has a 4-5 gallon size drink cooler to make and bring Hot Chocolate, that is also helpful, but not a must. 24-packs of bottled water are good too. Any unused canned goods with pop-tops and spoons would be great.
Please pray and ask the Lord what He would want you to bring (Proverbs 3:6 & James 1:5), then take a step of faith and trust Him, NO MATTER how weird (2 Corinthians 5:7). Financial donations are always welcome and 100% of donations go toward sustaining the ministry.
Also, please pray at least once during the week, that Jesus would be glorified each Friday night, that His love is felt through His servants, pray for help for those preparing the food, along with open doors to share the Gospel/plants seeds, and prayer for healing, as the Lord wills.
Finally, here's why we do this ministry:
"Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1
"... as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28
"They desired [the Apostles] only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do." Galatians 2:10
Please call with any questions and be praying for the Spirit to lead and guide us! (Proverbs 3:6)
God Bless You!

We will begin our Bible Study Series from the God's word on the topics:
"Discovering Your Purpose"
"Developing Your Gifts"
"Deploying Your Dreams"
Be sure to bring your Bible, a notepad or writing device to take notes.
Remember to share and invite a friend, college or family member.
We look forward to studying and applying the Word of God to our daily lives. Hebrews 4:12 says: "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
