  • Community walk

Eastlake #3 Park & Nature Preserve

Time change: last week was too hot so moved up a couple hours. I’m leading community walks for the Walk2Connect Cooperative. It’s open to anyone in the community and I thought perhaps some dads and kids will tag along. Walks are currently maxed at 8 people. After the walk I’ll let my kids play on the playground (yea they are back open). So come walk with me. The path is stroller friendly. Dogs are welcome but need to be on leash. I believe they removed the bathrooms, so you’ve been warned. _________ Here are Details from the Walk2Connect description. Details TYPE: Weekly | PACE: Walk & Talk | TERRAIN: Gravel paths | DISTANCE: Approx. 3 miles [masked]: COVID rules of participation.Prior to the walk you must complete an online waiver with Walk2Connect. But, dont show up if you have a fever within 24 hours of the walk. If you have a fever within 14 days of a walk, contact Walk2Connect or your leader WEAR A MASK. The walk will be adjusted as we go to avoid contacting large groups. We will walk keeping a distance of 6 feet from one. Bring sanitizer if you like. The NEW NORMAL is uopn us. Let's keep each other safe and get back in the groove!! My tennis shoes have been very bored! About the walk: Join us on a walk for one hour duration going 2.8 miles (or more) around Eastlake Nature Preserve. Kids are welcome. I’ll have my son (2) in stroller and daughter (5) walking. It will be leisurely and fun. Afterward me and the kids will be at the playground if anyone wants to stay around and join us. Wear comfortable shoes, dress according to the weather, and bring any items for your personal comfort (bottle of water, sun screen, bug repellant). Walking Movement Leader: Meet Kyle. "I love exercise. I’m a long distance runner, nature lover, and cat lover. I also love bringing people together to share in a common purpose. Different backgrounds and personalities sharing In a common goal. – Cancellation Policy: We only cancel in extreme weather conditions on our path, such as ice, hail, or lightening. • Dads at Nature and Science Museum

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

I have a pass that lets me take 4 people in free each visit. So you are welcome to use them but please text me at[masked] so I can make sure I didn’t already promise them. This museum is a blast. The space room has a great play area with costumes. Upstairs is a massive play room with water tables, sand for digging dinosaur bones, and so many cool exhibits like a mummy room. There’s a cafeteria for us to have a snack or lunch. You can purchase food there but they allow you to bring in your own food or drink.

  • Dads at the Library

    Anythink Wright Farms

Toddler time is a great class. Even if they are 1 and under your kid will enjoy the songs and dad will enjoy the conversation. Toddler Time starts at 10:45. Has songs, storytime, dance. It is a ton of fun. The library has a decent coffee bar with snacks and sandwiches.

  • Dads At The Zoo

    Denver Zoo

Bring the strollers, babywear, or perhaps you’re lucky enough to have walkers....join us as dads take over the zoo. We will meet out front by the benches. If you’re going to be late or can’t find us please text Kyle at[masked]. It can be sunny and hot, cold and windy...I mean it’s Colorado weather so come prepared.
