You've heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Even better is #GivingTuesday - a global rally for giving. The fifth annual #GivingTuesday is on November 29 and we are teaming up with our friends at Plum Organics and the Food Bank of the Rockies to support families in need this holiday season.
We really wanted to work with the Food Bank of the Rockies so we are holding our day of giving on December 29th, which was their earliest available date to host a large group like ours.
We are very proud to welcome our partner Plum Organics into the #GivingTuesday mix this year in seven City Dads Group cities across the United States. Plum Organics is the #1 organic baby food brand, and they believe deeply in using their business as a force for good. For #GivingTuesday, Plum Organics is donating a full palate of product to Good+ . . . that is over 400 pounds of food for families in need!
We are working with Food Bank of the Rockies. Several of us volunteered with them at the National At Home Dad Network conference a few years ago and were so impressed with their work. For this session, we will be sorting and bundling the Plum Organics donation to be distributed to families in need.
