John Fielder is offering a "Sunset Photography" workshop at Bluff Lake Nature Center on Saturday, May 11 from 2:00 pm until past sunset. We only have 9 spots left!!
There are only 16 spaces in this class, so the small class size will allow for a very personal experience with John Fielder himself, making this class a unique opportunity to work closely with an expert in the field.
Registration is a $250 cost with half of proceeds to benefit Bluff Lake Nature Center
This is your opportunity to learn landscape photography directly from John Fielder. Find out how John creates his award-winning images and gain a deeper understanding of the visual aspects of nature. In a comprehensive 2-hour indoor slide show lecture learn how to improve your compositions and get an insider’s look at professional techniques, including which bells and buttons you only really need to use on your camera. At the end of the lecture, John will discuss the most important tools used in postprocessing programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
Then join John on a hike and photo shoot from 4:30 until sunset along the Sand Creek Regional Greenway and around Bluff Lake. The cottonwoods will be greening up providing wonderful subject matter for sunset photography! We will finish the evening around 8pm. Any kind of camera will work for this shop, from point & shoot to SLR. A tripod for late light images would be useful, too. Appropriate for all levels of photographers, beginner to advanced, and a great way to improve your travel photography.
