What we're about

Montreal Depression and Bipolar Support Group (DBSA) is a peer run support group that offers help for people with any mental health issue. It encompasses all mental illnesses but a person should also have either bipolar disorder or depression.

We are a group that shares our problems and successes to get support in our time of need and when we’re healthy also. There’s lots of ah ha moments when you learn that you’re not the only one who has an illness. We share our stories to gain support.

The Depression and Bipolar Alliance (DBSA) national envisions wellness for people living with mood disorders (depression and bipolar disorder).

DBSA national provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders

Community—DBSA creates the opportunity for meaningful lives by compassionately engaging with individuals and providing peer-led support groups, educational materials, and wellness tools that focus on resilience, achievement, creativity, and connection.
