What we're about
Come learn the ancient art of meditation to find deep happiness and contentment from within. Through learning how to calm and focus the mind with Buddhist meditation techniques, we can learn how to pacify negative states of mind and cultivate the positive attitudes we need to transform life's challenging situations. The class is designed for beginners as well as those with some experience; everyone is welcome. The classes will be held Saturdays on June 2nd from 3-4 PM, June 16th from 2-3 PM and June 30th from 2-3 PM at the West Des Moines Public Library. The Des Moines Class will emphasize how we can apply what we have learned immediately into our life in order to solve our daily worries, problems, and difficulties in a peaceful and positive way.
● We sit in chairs or you may bring a cushion.
● Suitable for Beginners/Advanced Meditators.
● Drop-in class, so you do not need to pre-register or pay in advance.
● Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary.
