A talk by Jill Ferguson [Vaayu and Vision Collective]

A talk by Jill Ferguson on 'Ikigai: Creating space for people to find their reason for being.'

This talk will attempt to dive into the meaning of Ikigai, and the place it holds in inspiring and driving the Artist Residency established by Rahul Malaney and Jill Ferguson. It will also look at the ways in which their space and intention gives room for others through the connection to art to reflect and find their own purpose for being.

About the Speaker:

Jill Ferguson who is originally from a little suburb just north of Seattle, Washington, has been living in India for the last four years. She is one of the founders of Vaayu, a social business with many moving parts including an Artist Residency, Gallery, and Production Company that connects and collaborates with artists from around the globe. Jill and her partner Rahul Malaney started Vaayu and the Vision Collective just over 3 years ago, and both have been incredibly moved by the amount of inspiration and art that has manifested itself as a result. When Jill is not heading the Artist Residency, she also acts as a consultant for companies and non profits looking to adopt more sustainable processes and infrastructure for their operations.
