Developer Designer Handoffs
An open conversation about who's responsible for what, on designer and developer hand-offs.
We are all builders, innovators, creators, and disruptors, and we all want to create impact. We want to help equip you, the community, to do just that. Every month will be something unique, breaking away from the traditional style meetup. We will be hosting speaker panels, creative presentations, workshops, etc. We hope that you will join us for our next upcoming meetup on March 28th.
Orlando has an awesome BarCamp and it's always a good time. Be sure to get on the board and share some knowledge.
Be sure to register for free at http://barcamporlando.org
If you're looking for more events too, BarCamp is part of Orlando Tech Week (April 18-24) http://orlandotechweek.com (http://orlandotechweek.com/)
Continuing on with our work in teams, we will be presenting the wireframes that have been created from our work in the first meetup. We will share, review, and tweak them in preparation for the final comps.
This is a combo night as we'll be launching the site and the download of the full kit from the first sprint. Then we'll jump into the next sprint.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the night and through the process. We will be doing (and learning) the processes of creating user personas and scenarios for a design.
Here's the plan for the night:
• Create 4 likely personas for the app
• Create the scenario(s) we will design against
• Break into the teams for designing the project

It's the final designs! We'll do presentations for each of the designs, show off the site for this first round, and give feedback. Then we'll work out a launch plan and discuss the next round.
If you plan on coming, would you mind signing up here as well? We'll work out a good way to handle this going forward: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/design-orlando-a-uxui-initiative-tickets-18768050745
Continuing on with our designs, we will be presenting the wireframes that have been created from our work in the first meetup. We will share, review, and tweak them in preparation for the final comps. We will also present the brand guide, the final website design and logo.
Every one of these nights will be filled with problems to solve and great discussions. There's no need to have attended a prior night to be involved and get something out of the experience.
