Design Thinking: Solve Complex Problems | 2 HOUR

Online event

Robert A. Simon and Robert Mckim introduced ‘design thinking’ in such a manner viewing “design as a way of thinking” in 1969. Fast forward: David Kelly (who founded IDEO in 1991) adapted it to business purposes followed by Richard Buchanan which tried to address human concerns with design thinking.

DESIGN THINKING EMPHASIZES OPEN-MINDEDNESS, CURIOSITY, AND COLLABORATION

Design thinking is an attempt to learn from the designers’ approach to design challenges. The recurrent shift from divergent to convergent modes of thinking, having a holistic view, engaging in multi-disciplinary teams, the fetish for prototyping, pen and paper, embracing uncertainty and welcoming ambiguity, putting yourself in someone else’s shoes, trial, and error (iterative mindset), etc… are some of the significant upheavals introduced by design thinking. Welcome to problem-solving 2.0.

In this webinar, Behrad will break it down for you the philosophy of design thinking and the tools by which you can conduct a design thinking workshop.

UX DESIGN: Design Pixel-Perfect Applications in Just 3 Weeks

I've talked to over 25 startups in the past 12 months. There are four common weak points I've traced in most of them:

1. Can't design great experiences —> AND copy-pasting competitors
2. UX debt from the start
3. Don't have the right team
4. Lack a systematic process to produce great design FAST

In this talk,
- I break down for you what you can do for each point.
- I present to you many use cases and examples of how we address these issues for our clients
- I present to you Bonanza Design UX Design Process which lasts about three weeks
This is a systematic process that aims to marry speed with quality
And at the end of the talk, we'll have a long Q/A and exchange thoughts

Week 1: Define. Scope. Wireframe
In this phase, we'd
✅ create the user flow of the most pressing user stories
✅ define the app pages and functionalities for each
✅ Wireframe each page and create a low-fidelity prototype
✅ Finalize the scope of Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

Week 2: Design System & Interface Design
✅ Create the Design System
✅ Design for the interactive elements
✅ Design the user interface

Week 3: Interface Design & Usability Testing
✅ Design the user interface
✅ Conduct Usability Testing
✅ Finalize and hand over

Lean Innovation: High Velocity Validation & MVP Design

Online event

The most innovative companies tend to tackle the risk of developing new products upfront. There are 4 types of risks

1. Value Risk 2. Tech Risk 3. Usability Risk 4. Business Viability Risk

The most important risk any product developer needs to address upfront is value risk i.e. would customers find values in what we'd like to offer them? aka would they buy it? aka does our offer address their need?

How would you know the answer without having a business running, you might ask?

Well, that's what Lean Innovation is all about 👉 Validating your grand business/product ideas cheaply using fast experimentation and prototyping.

In this webinar, you learn how you can test your ideas at scale with not so much money in only a few weeks!!!

In this talk,
- I break down how you can validate your business ideas with your target customers in 4 weeks
- I present to you the most effective version of an agile process through which you can drive breakthrough innovation
- I break down Bonanza Design exclusive product innovation process
- I break down how you can test your MVP idea only in a week with your target customers
This is a systematic process that aims to marry speed with quality
And at the end of the talk, we'll have a long Q/A and exchange thoughts

Week 1: Research Opportunities
In this phase, we
✅ Define the problem/opportunity
✅ Conduct market research including competitive research, keywords/trends analysis, and user research

Week 2: Define Hypotheses & Design Experiments
In this phase, we
✅ Revisit our understanding of the opportunity thanks to the research insights from the previous week
✅ Ideate solutions & define hypotheses
