For the July meetup we'll continue our four part series that we began in May in which we break the design thinking approach down into four phases: Immerse, Frame, Imagine, and Prototype.
There is no need to have attended the previous months workshops- each workshop is designed to stand alone even if you were not able to attend prior or subsequent events.
In each month of the series we will explore one of the four phases in depth, as well as how to apply the associated methods and mindsets to a range of different industries and situations.
For July we're going to focus on the Ideate phase with an emphasis on tools and frameworks that help us brainstorm and generate ideas, both individually and with groups. We'll introduce ways to enhance our own personal creativity and identify blockers that inhibit our own idea flow, and you'll learn tools and tricks to bring back to your teams to help facilitate better group brainstorming sessions.
As always, come prepared to engage in a highly experiential workshop, meet a diverse collection of fellow innovators, and learn tools you can use to help make Seattle a human-centered and innovative city!
