Christmas Day Plans

A former member
Thanks to everyone (again) who wrote in with ideas! Here's the plan:

Emmanuel Bethel Church in Royal Oak runs a warming center that also serves dinner. They would need us starting at 8 pm and running until as late as we want to stay (mostly 11 pm but you can stay all night if you're so inclined). We will be serving food and welcoming the folks for the evening. We could all meet at my house around 5 or 6, have a potluck dinner then head over. How does that sound to everyone?

Their Website: http://emmanuelbethel...
And a description from the site: "Come and assist any night of the warming center. The church houses the homeless overnight. They are given a warm meal at 9 pm, blankets and pillows are available for a pallet and breakfast is served at 6 am. You can assist wherever you feel comfortable and as often as you prefer."

Thanks again!
