St Sabbas Monastery - Royal Eagle Restaurant

Let's go to the St. Sabbas Orthodox Monastery and enjoy a dinner and hopefully get a tour of the grounds! I will need to make a reservation for our group, so please RSVP so I can give the restaurant an exact headcount. I will be making the reservation soon so please decide if you are interested in coming as soon as possible. I am also going to see if we can take a tour of the grounds as well; so, the time might change. I will give more information as the date gets closer, but feel free to check out the website for the restaurant: http://www.theroyaleagle.org/index2.html and for the monastery: http://http://stsabbas.org/

From the website: St. Sabbas Orthodox Monastery, located in Harper Woods, Michigan, is a men's monastery following the patristic Julian calendar. The monastery was founded in 1999 as a center for liturgical arts in conjunction with traditional monastic standards.

The monastery is presently situated on approximately six acres which includes the Monastery Katholicon, the library of over 6,000 books, the Abbot's quarters, the Metropolitan's Archpastoral apartment, the trapeza, gift shop, candle shop, and bakery. Ground will soon be broken for the artisans' studios.

I wish I could go, but really couldn't work it out. Could you let me know how to arrange a tour? Or if you decide to go again??
