2. Automating Kubernetes Cluster Operations with Operators (Timo Derstappen, Giant Swarm)

At Giant Swarm (https://giantswarm.io/), we manage Kubernetes clusters for customers 24/7, both on-premises and in the cloud. That means we do not just set something up and hand it over, but we actually take care that it’s operational and up-to-date at all times.

In this talk Timo explains how Giant Swarm are using Operators to codify all operational tasks of managing Kubernetes cluster and distributed applications on top. The operators manage PKI infrastructures, networks, VMs and storage both on-premises and in the cloud. There have been a lots of challenges and learnings in the past year and Timo would like to share them with you.

Bio: Timo Derstappen is the CTO and Co-Founder of Giant Swarm. Besides managing and scaling distributed services for the past 15 years he is prepared to move off-the-grid as soon as the time is right.

3. Hypnotherapy Mindset Coaching (Jakob Hilden, Railslove (http://railslove.com))

Hypnotherapy Mindset Coaching Session with Master Jakob using http://www.primedmind.com/.

4. Gameboy for Heroes (Mathias Krauß, Press Every Key (http://www.presseverykey.com))

The Nintendo Gameboy was sold more than 100 million times. It's one of the most successful gaming consoles and definitively one of the most famous ones. Despite being discontinued over 10 years ago, it's still around and actively used for retro gaming, chiptunes, demos and, best of all: hacking. This talk describes the experiences I made during a recent Gameboy hack project: Turning it into a live playable instrument with a Guitar Hero controller. Batteries included.
