Esri Dev Meet Up - Honolulu, HI

We will be hosting an Esri Dev Meet Up in coordination with the Hawaii Pacific GIS Conference in Honolulu, taking place March 5-7, 2012. Food and beverages will be provided at the event!

This Dev Meet Up is a social gathering for developers to discuss geospatial technologies, complementary third-party tools, and development platforms (e.g., Silverlight, Java, Flex, JavaScript) that are supported by Esri. Presentations run the gamut of our community: from Web development to mobile location development for iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 to automating tasks with Python.

Developers of all levels of expertise are welcome, from seasoned GIS professionals to those new to geospatial development.

At these meetups, you can:

  • Demonstrate your application or framework.
  • Present an interesting concept or idea.
  • Share your experiences.
  • Connect with other developers.

    Very helpful to the gis community to have ESRI sponsor this dev meet up. After the talks, I was approached by two other developers willing to talk more about GIS design and to explore how we could work/share. This kind of a event builds the gis community and to shate info.
