Code On: Intro to Web Development is a one day Saturday workshop geared towards beginners (No prior experience needed). Powered by DevPoint Labs at our campus. DevPoint's developer Matthew Peterson will guide you hands-on through some of the most sought-after tech skills in Web Development. We will introduce to you the functionalities and capabilities that HTML/CSS, and JavaScript bring to Web Development! Lunch will be provided. Intended Audience This is intended for any beginner that wants to know more about web development. No prior experience needed! Seats will be limited to 25. Prerequisites We recommend all attendees of this workshop to have all of the following: • Bring a laptop Have an open heart and mind • Be ready to work in groups • Please arrive 15 minutes early to set up your laptop + wifi Delivery Method This session will be delivered by DevPoint Labs instructors through a mix of instructor-led training and guided hands-on labs. Hands-on labs require you to bring your own Windows/Mac/Linux laptop. (Your laptop must have administrator privileges. If using Linux, you will need to be an administrator user level.)
