Join the largest learning event in history- over 4 million people in over 25,000 classrooms will participate in an Hour of Code (http://hourofcode.com/)!
We've partnered with Code.org (http://code.org) to celebrate CSEdWeek and promote computer science education globally from December 9 to 15, and we'd love for you to join for this in-person NYC event. Our Hour of Code will be Developers for Good and CodeMontage-style, so we’ll be learning and contributing to social good projects. Please bring a laptop - this is a hands-on coding event.
Developers: Bring a friend, spouse, sibling - anyone you like being around who is interested in learning an Hour of Code. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome. You’re welcome to choose a tutorial (http://csedweek.org/learn) that looks good to you, or to contribute to social good projects (http://codemontage.com/projects) through CodeMontage during this event.
Friends & Social Entrepreneurs: Ready to learn to code? This is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! Commit to just one Hour of Code (http://csedweek.org/learn) with people who believe in you. Bring a laptop and a can-do attitude, and we’ll help you through any tough spots.
*If you’re up to it, you can also join 24PullRequests (http://24PullRequests.com) - a social campaign for open source software contributions every day in December until Christmas!
