Teach Kids to Code - CoderDojo Workshop

  • CoderDojo NYC is a non-profit teaching youth ages 7-17 web, game and app development.

    We'll be teaching: 

    • Scratch (visual programming)

    • HTML & CSS (Thimble) 

    • Circuits (littleBits)

    This is an orientation in the morning to volunteer for a workshop for kids in the afternoon. This is not for parents & youth.

    No previous experience necessary, laptops not required.

    Orientation will begin at 11:30am

    Quick question. Is this meetup like the other one where the mentors talked in the morning and students showed up in the afternoon?

      I'm not sure on what event you're referring to, but yes, that sounds right.

      Workshops have a short orientation for the mentors in the late morning, and then the bulk of the afternoon is spent doing 1-on-1 time with the students, with presentations at the end.
