Great talk. Enjoyed learning more about Backbone. I'm about to start an ambitious project with Backbone, so it was good to get another perspective before I get very far in. Thanks!

Here'e where the code lives: http://pwalker.github.io/psychic-octo-cyril/ . The pretty code is in the doc/app.html file.

Nice jobs on both. I like the informal, interactive presentation style ... We use backbone in our product at WiserTogether and it's pretty smokin'. It was cool to see ruby debugging - I loved the whole foray into "Let's see if we can change the past and affect the future after it was executed." was particularly awesome.

The Backbone.js presentation was excellent. It introduced underscore.js (as well) and gave insights into the advantages of each. The presenter was able to tailor the information in a way that novices could understand and experts could profit from.
I very much enjoyed the Effective Debugging presentation as well. While this was introduced as a 'work in progress', there was a lot of very good information. The "learning as we go" format made it more instructive, at least to me (I have had little interaction with Ruby). The positive attitude of the presenter was infectious. Definitely worthy of a 5 star rating.

Hi! You sat behind me, I believe. I liked both of the presentations, as well. Hope to see you next month!

Sorry to have to miss. I've sustained a slight injury and I just can't get there this time or sit through it.
    Next time.
