Join Devhub Toronto for their weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new?

This week's Lunch&&Learn will talk about 'Principles of Software Design' , presented by Sumit Roy.

Sumit will talk about the Flexibility of Design - showcasing how there are multiple solutions to one problem. He will discuss principles like single responsibility principle, and the dependency inversion principle. Furthermore, Sumit will explain Coupling and Cohesion in design and go over the complexity reduction through KISS principle. He will also suggest what design patterns to use and anti patterns to avoid.

Sumit has 20 years experience in software development and design across a variety of functional areas like Finance, Capital Markets, Data Science and 3D graphics. He is proud of his experience of delivering quality software products on time and budget.
