Join Devhub Vancouver for their weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new?

This week's Lunch&&Learn topic is "Cybersecurity" presented by Dominic Vogel, Chief Security Strategist at (

In his session, Dominic will talk how and why the Cybersecurity field is so interesting. By 2021 it is expected there will be 3.5 million unfilled cyber security job openings. The cyber security unemployment rate has plummeted to 0%, and it's expected to remain there for the next several years. There is a shortage of cyber defenders at organizations of all sizes and types, ranging from Fortune 500 and Global 2000 corporations to small-to-midsize businesses to governments and schools globally. You don't have to be a "hacker" to get a job in cyber security. There are countless opportunities to be a cyber security professional.

This is an opportunity for you to learn about the cyber security field and to ask questions about what skills to develop and what jobs are worth pursuing.
