Join Devhub Vancouver for their weekly series of Lunch&&Learns-- casual one-hour seminars with varying topics targeted at developers. Why not use your lunch break to learn something new?

This week's Lunch&&Learn topic is "Event Modelling" and is presented by Adam Dymitruk, CEO of Adaptech Group and organizer of the super successful Vancouver BC Microservices Design and Implementation with DDD/CQRS/ES meetup.

Adam is a pioneer in the event sourcing space working with Greg Young on one of, if not the, earliest event sourcing projects when Greg was based out of Vancouver, BC in the 2007 - 2008 timeframe.

This talk is about Adam's groundbreaking work using Event Oriented approaches for modeling information systems. This is the technique he and his company have been using to successfully build event sourced systems across industries and clients. The talk will be a preview of his upcoming book on the subject to be published in the near future.
