AIM

The aim of this group is to get together to explore how dance can be used as a path to happier living.

OBJECTIVES / What will we be doing?

We will do this by organising monthly meetups, where together we will go through a guided movement to music process specifically designed to help us have a direct experience of positive states of mind, such as joy, open-herted love and affection, enthusiasm, determination, self-belief, trust, confidence, respect for self and others, flexibility, balance, calm, peacefulness, and so forth.

We will start by organising a first introductory taster, and then a meetup for each of the 4 immeasurable inner attitudes, as follows

• the dance of open-hearted loving-kindness

• the dance of com-passion

• the dance of joy and

• the dance of equanimity.

The dances and movements are simple and easy to do yet powerful.

Who is this group for?

This is a group for anyone interested in Dancing the Ancient Dharma Wisdom Teachings.

No previous dance or dharma experience needed.

Practicalities

Please note that these are not drop-in sessions.

Remember to book at least 1 month in advance.

Wear comfortable clothes and bring water to drink.
