No introduction yet
The format - a reading task, a short, informal presentation followed by fairly random chat occasionally (and gently) redirected by the organisers - seems to me to be a good one. I have attended twice, and enjoyed both sessions. The chat has often drifted off the subject, but maybe that's OK. People want to talk about what they want to talk about. I would love to attend sessions on how to foster a religion-free morality. Religion has been so huge and so central for so long, it is hard to imagine a morality not tied to a world view and a set of instructions. Or maybe what we need is a new world view - and set of instructions? Eating people is wrong?
