It's great to be teaming up with Digital Oxford Project Managers (DOPM) to bring you a really fun and useful workshop on user story mapping. If you haven't heard of DOPM, they're a friendly bunch of Digital Project Managers, who have regular talks, workshops and lean-coffee sessions. Check them out at https://www.meetup.com/DOPM-Digital-PM/ , and keep an eye out for their upcoming events (I know they've got some really great ones planned).

As this is a joint event, signup will be via Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/workshop-user-story-mapping-joint-dhox-dopm-event-tickets-31677989720

This workshop is a crash course in how to use user story mapping as a tool for scoping and prioritising a product backlog with the product owner. It will be a hands-on, interactive session for anyone who’s interested in different ways of exploring backlogs with clients.

The session will be run by Frances Place, account director at Oxford digital agency White October. Frances has had lots of experience dealing with health-related projects, and you can watch her give a talk at a previous DHOx on her work with the Let's Talk FGM app (https://vimeo.com/188934805). You don't have to have any prior experience, and the session is sure to be useful for anyone who is either running projects, or dealing with / commissioning people to run projects.

This will be the first time any DHOx events have been in The POD (https://pod.ocfi.co.uk/), Oxford's new co-working and meeting space, at the heart of the city. It's fantastic to be able to use this facility, and many thanks to Science Oxford and The Oxford Trust for their work in setting it up. Thanks also as always to our generous sponsors, Oxford Computer Consultants, White October, Isansys, and Global Initiative.
