Digital Transformation UK: Cyber Security Special

Online event

*** Please register via Eventbrite to access this event *** https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/digital-transformation-uk-cyber-security-special-tickets-122580330067 Welcome to our latest online Digital Transformation meet-up. October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, which we are marking with a series of short talks on different cyber topics. Starting the evening we have Jack Cordery-Redolf, Senior Data Scientist at KMPG with his talk Connecting the dots: How graph-enabled machine learning enabled accelerated understanding of IT risks and failures. In his lightning talk, Jack will cover graph technology and demo how graph-enhanced ML enables clients to uncover potential IT risks and failures. Our second speaker is Katie Hewitt, Security Innovation Senior Manager in Lloyds Banking Group's Chief Security Office. Katie will be discussing Security Innovation: Threats, Opportunities and Influence. Katie will explore the threat landscape and what keeps colleagues working in innovation awake at night. Finally we will be joined by Matt Duffin, Emerging Technology Engineer in Lloyds' Chief Technology Office. Matt will give an Introduction to Homomorphic Encryption, explaining how we fill the missing piece of the encryption triangle by showing how we can work on data while it is encrypted. There will be plenty of time during the event for questions and discussion with the speakers. Due to its popularity at this year's Leeds Digital Festival, we will once again host a break out session where Sophie Armstrong will be on hand to discuss Lloyds' emerging talent programmes such as apprenticeships, industrial placements and our software engineering graduate scheme. #engineerthefuture Please note this is a strictly non-sales event.
