Our upcoming event will be a panel discussion that dives deep into the concepts of AI and voice assistants, and the impact they are having on the healthcare industry. Healthcare is projected to become a dominant contender in voice applications. Voice assistants from Apple, Amazon and Microsoft are rapidly expanding into the medical landscape. Voice assistants use ‘natural language processing’ to communicate, and the technology has to be taught to recognize medical terminology and programmed for the implications of AI. Most healthcare voice apps currently being built focus on providing information, which fills an unmet need, and is easy to build. But future voice apps, including some already being developed, will offer more by way of using AI to provide actionable advice, or performing simple actions. Essentially AI will take voice assistants further making them indispensable helpers for healthcare professionals and patients/caregivers alike. Pharma can play a role in using AI and Voice Assistants to better patient outcomes. He is the global Chief Digital Officer in the Health & Wellness Practice and consults with major clients on digital transformation and innovation. He is an outspoken digital evangelist who has lent his expert POV in a variety of forums over his 19+ year career. He is passionate about educating his peers and his clients about what the future of digital looks like for healthcare and, in addition to all the innovations he's been responsible for bringing forward, he has taken his mission on the road and speaks at a wide variety of digital and healthcare-centered events across the world. Dan Chichester, Chief Experience Officer, Ogilvy Health In roles that include Chief Digital Officer (Ogilvy Healthworld and TBWA\WorldHealth) and Chief Creative Officer (LLNS), Dan helped to extend integrated campaigns across channels for client partners that include Astra Zeneca, Amgen, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Ferring, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Novartis and TEDMED. As a Creative Director at Ogilvy, he spearheaded leading digital initiatives for IBM, Time Warner Cable and Siemens. Among his awards, Dan counts Gold Addys, a Gold MM&M, John Caples Internationals, DTC Nationals, a Webby, and an RX Show Award of Excellence. As CXO of Ogilvy Health, Dan is responsible for driving innovation, digital strategy and engagement to create brand experiences that reach healthcare providers, payers, caregivers, and patients through interactive channels, touchpoints, and platforms. He works with leaders across the Ogilvy network to create an atmosphere designed to foster a maker culture, elevate thinking and produce ground-breaking solutions for agency clients, all while helping to grow both Ogilvy Health’s digital team and its suite of offerings.
