This month we're doing a UX themed evening. I've accosted Nadia from Ladies that UX to talk about how _not_ to kill designers your UX colleagues. Nadia is our only speaker this month so it will be a fairly chilled out evening. There's plenty of cool drinks to counter the hot weather, so come along, chat to friends and chill.

We'll stick to our tried and tested formula - ice cold drinks on arrival including a selection of beer, wines and soft drinks. There will be finger snacks to keep your energy levels up. Pizza turns up at 8 and then you're free to drink more beers while you chat to people and relax. The whole evening is a chilled out affair.
We try to cater for everyone, so there will be meaty, vegetarian and gluten free pizza but if you have any special dietary requirements, send me an email and I'll try to accommodate them.

If you can't make it, We will do a livestream (https://youtu.be/JTvqwR0ecfY)

Nadia Udalova (XebiaLabs) - UX & DEV: How to BUILD KILLER FEATURES and not kill each other

Developers and designers have very different job profiles. We often hear designers complain about developers ruining their work. Developers avoid designers as they make their job more complicated. Instead, we should learn to work together to make our difficult jobs easier and to create the most efficient process for everyone. Nadia will share some tips that helped her team of UX professionals to work efficiently with developers in a highly development-driven organisation.

Nadia is a User Experience evangelist with about 6 years of experience. Currently she is leading a team of UX professionals at XebiaLabs - an enterprise-scale Continuous Delivery & DevOps software provider. One of the biggest challenges on her career path - is to make development driven work environment take user centric direction.
Nadia is passionate about promoting female talent in tech. She is a part of Ladies That UX Amsterdam organisers team - biggest female-focused UX community in Netherlands.

The provisional structure is as follows:

- 6:30 - Doors open - Grab a drink and get a seat

- 7:00 - Brief introduction

- 7:10 - Nadia Udalova (XebiaLabs) - UX & DEV: How to BUILD KILLER FEATURES and not kill each other

- 8:00 - Closing remarks then pizza and socialising
