  • DigitalOcean & GitHub present: Hacktoberfest in Bangalore

What is Hacktoberfest? Hacktoberfest—in partnership with GitHub—is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors (https://opensource.guide/how-to-contribute/) towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like and ones they've just discovered. No contribution is too small—bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating. 2017 will mark the 4th year for Hacktoberfest! Rules and Prizes To participate, first sign up on the Hacktoberfest site (https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/). If you open up four pull requests between October 1 and October 31, you'll win a free, limited edition Hacktoberfest T-shirt. • CI/CD Tools and Strategies

    CoWrks

CI/CD merges development with testing, allowing developers to build code collaboratively, submit it to the master branch, and be checked for issues. This allows developers to not only build their code but also test their code in any environment type and as often as possible to catch bugs early in the applications development lifecycle. We are bringing back CI/CD for the next meetup. We would like the community to share their knowledge about various tools available and strategies for managing the workflows, including failure stories and things that went wrong. If you have experience in building and/or managing CI/CD tool chains and want to speak, please leave a comment and we'll get in touch with you.
