Hacktoberfest Hackathon in Bucharest 2018
It's Hacktoberfest 2018! Let's celebrate open source over food, drinks, learning, and great company! This year, Rosedu and 2Performant will help us introduce you to the Open Source world and travel alongside with some of the more experienced ones! Prepare yourselves for this year's hackathon! We will meet in the hall of the ground floor of PRECIS Research Center Building! You'll have to register with one of our hosts, and they'll guide you to one of the rooms reserved for open hacking. You can either participate as a project owner (propose a project in the link below), message us if you want to be a mentor, or just bring your enthusiasm for open source and we'll guide you to make 5 Pull Requests. Submit all 5 PRs until the end of the month and get a chance to receive a Hacktoberfest 2018 T-Shirt and some goodies! Project owners will have 3 minutes to pitch the Open Source Project to the crowd and will get the chance to gather up their team of contributors during Lunch! What's Hacktoberfest? Find out more on https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com! Rules and Prizes First sign up on the Hacktoberfest site. If you open up five pull requests between October 1 and October 31, you'll win a free, limited edition Hacktoberfest T-shirt. (Pull requests do not have to be merged and accepted; as long as they've been opened between the very start of October 1 and the very end of October 31, they count towards a free T-shirt.) Connect with other Hacktoberfest participants (Hacktobefestants?) by using the hashtag, #hacktoberfest, on your social media platform of choice. We’d love your feedback! How can we make this meetup more valuable to you? Tell us what talks, demos, foods, drinks, etc. you’d like to see at upcoming meetups — share your ideas in the Suggestion Box. Anyone interested in giving a talk is welcome to submit a talk proposal.
