Moderator - LaToya Lyn: Senior HRBP @ Compass (She/Her/They/Them) LaToya has a deep passion for people, especially people in the workplace. Holding a dual masters in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, her professional experience spans from executive leadership coaching to driving organizational change and culture transformation globally. LaToya has also worked in cognitive neuroscience, contributing to the world of human behavior and animal research. Her experience spans across many industries, including digital media, fashion, consulting and now technology. On a personal note, LaToya is a first generation Jamaican American, native New Yorker, and is currently living in Brooklyn with her wife and little dog named Patrick. Panelist - Max Masure: Service Designer / Inclusion Strategist (They/Them) Max is a trans nonbinary inclusion strategist who draws on their personal experience as well as their extensive background in design thinking. Max develops the blueprints for organizations to use creativity, empathy, and collaboration to tackle gender bias. For over a decade Max served as an award-winning UX Designer for startups and Fortune 50 companies including Talkspace, Goldman Sachs, and Johnson & Johnson. As vice president of the Paris-based organization Girlz in Web, they promoted women in STEM. First up, Satish Devarapalli will deliver a lighting talk on the recent evaluation of CI/CD solutions at Wolters Kluwer; he'll cover topics ranging from the developer experience - from minikube to different environments (e.g. staging, prod) - to using Helm, Jenkins and git-crypt for encrypting sensitive date. After that, Andrew and Lars from the Spinnaker team at Google will cover how to store both code and configuration related to applications and environments easily, and the challenges related to going arriving at an easy-to-configure, easy-to-run software delivery pipelines. They'll cover a number of patterns and practices that allow application rollout and environment configuration, restore and drift detection to be carried out consistently.
