Anatolia Turkish Restaurant on White Bridge Road in Lion Head Village

If you haven't been to Anatolia yet, you are in for a treat.  Specializing in Shish Kabobs, Seafood and Vegetarian dishes, Nashville's Anatolia Turkish Restaurant opened it's doors in July 2003. They say their goal is to "Delight" you with the finest in Turkish kitchen selections thoughtfully prepared with a flare!

As attendance at our meetups grows, I'm glad there are restaurants like Anatolia who can handle groups of 18 or more.  I've hosted 3 meetups at Anatolia, and everything has gone well each time.  I will also continue to schedule smaller restaurants such as The Wild Cow where the number they can comfortably handle for a group is closer to 12.  Hopefully, when I schedule the larger restaurants, everyone who wants to can attend.  As always, please keep your rsvp up-to-date.  Thanks!

Both hospitality industry veterans, brothers Huseyin and Harun Ustunkaya call their hometown of Antalya, a seaside city in the Turkish region of Anatolia where they grew up, "a piece of heaven on earth". They wish to bring this slice of heaven and culture experience to Nashville with their authentic Turkish cuisine which you must come to taste for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Anatolia distinguishes itself with a commitment to quality, fresh ingredients, a superb art of seasoning and a freshness that arrives with every dish.

My cell number is [masked] if you don't spot me or are running late. Reservation is under Derek.

When you rsvp yes for a meetup, we ask that you attend or change your rsvp to “no” no later than 24 hours prior to the event. This will allow an opportunity for other members to make a reservation/move from the waiting list to going or allow the event host to call the restaurant and lower the reservation number if necessary. If a member habitually doesn’t attend a reservation or cancels a few hours before the meetup which hurts the chances of others to attend, we may have to remove that member from the group. We also ask that members are courteous to staff at the restaurants we frequent to ensure our group will be welcomed back. Thanks!

It is with a certain degree sadness that I feel compelled to announce the sudden, unexpected demise of the Kunefe I ordered at the restaurant last night. I only ate a small piece of it there and took the rest home with me (with the intent of saving it for a snack today). But later that evening, as I was sitting on the couch and watching TV, I got up to grab a LIGHT snack, opened the door to the fridge and then heard it cry out to me: "'It's me, Kunefe. Have a piece of me for your snack!" Well, next thing I knew, one ABSOLUTELY YUMMY bite lead to another and another until all of a sudden... it was all gone! Goodbye, Friday snack, I will miss you!! It was not a pretty sight as was being consumed completely , but I must tell you this: it was a damn DELICIOUS one!!! Kunefe, I salute you!!!

I am not sure if I can attend. I changed my RSVP so someone on the wait list can have my spot.
