If for some reason your plans change and you can longer attend, please change your RSVP to not going. This will give someone else the chance to attend in your place. If a member consistently doesn't show up without changing their RSVP then they will be removed from the group. This is a courtesy to other members.

Discover Belgravia: from Five Fields to five star

Sloane Square Station

£8.00

Another chance to come along to this guided walking tour of historic Belgravia - approx 90 minutes. This is a friendly group so if this is your first time, you'll be made very welcome.

Belgravia was once a large area known as the Five Fields – a swampy grazing land by day and a notoriously dangerous place by night. It was largely developed in the 1820s and 1830s by the Grosvenor family who own the land with the expertise of Thomas Cubitt.

Belgravia now has some of London’s most expensive homes in stately squares, beautiful crescents and enchanting mews. In this guided walk we will be discovering the area's fascinating history and the people who lived and died in Belgravia from its early days through to the 1960s.

This is a circular walk and we'll make our way back to Sloane Square.
