November - Sunday 'Meetup' Walk + Talk All Things Camino
Why not enjoy an 9 mile / 14.4 km walk around the Mole Valley and Box Hill in the beautiful North Downs? We meet outside Dorking's main railway station. Leaving the town, we firstly climb uphill and head towards to the woodland of Norbury Park Estate. Descending through the forest, we exit the woods before we meet the arched bridge over the River Mole. Next, we carefully cross the busy A24 dual carriageway to enter Mickleham village. Continuing on, we begin to gain height once further as we walk amongst the thick woodland of Box Hill Country Park. Arriving at the viewpoint and summit, we will hopefully be able to enjoy good views of the surrounding countryside. A steep descent follows, along with a re-crossing of the River Mole but this time on stepping stones. Once more on the other side of the A24 road, our final steps of the day will take us through Denbies Wine Estate, England's largest vineyard, for refreshments before finishing at our start point at Dorking station. What we're about

This Meetup group serves two purposes; firstly, for returning pilgrims (peregrinos) from Spain to meet-up and exchange stories about their experiences' and secondly, for prospective peregrinos who want to set off for the 'Way of St. James' and who seek to be inspired and to have their, no doubt, many questions answered.
