Yasser El-Ansary

Chief Executive of the Australian Investment Council

Yasser commenced as Chief Executive of the Australian Investment Council in November 2013. He is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the organisation’s work in representing the private equity and venture capital industry in Australia.

Prior to joining the Australian Investment Council, Yasser was the General Manager of Policy and Advocacy for the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia. He has more than 20 years experience as a business adviser and public policy expert, through his previous roles with PwC, Rio Tinto, Frasers Property Australia, as well as the Department of Treasury in Canberra.

James Callianiotis

General Manager, Australasia at Deepbridge Capital and MD at Real Consult

As an experienced business builder, James is Deepbridge’s Australasian General Manager. James works with entrepreneurs, young businesses and institutions in the region to provide access to Deepbridge’s unique management skill set and funding opportunities.

Prior to joining Deepbridge, James has been a Managing Director and strategist for numerous growth businesses and property management focussed organisations.
