White Linen Night in the Heights is the Hottest Event of the Year!
White Linen Night in the Heights is a neighborhood-wide event. It’s held the first Saturday evening in August and draws an estimated 30,000 to 50,000 attendees. Event-goers wear white linen and take to the Heights’ streets to celebrate art, culture and community while enjoying some of the best entertainment, boutiques and shops, art galleries, restaurants and eclectic bars in Houston.
Wear white, but it doesn't actually have to be linen. Also, comfy shoes if you're going to be doing much strolling. The sidewalks are alright, but narrow or a bit rough in some areas. =)

Last year Onion Creek had live music, and has a big patio area, so this'll be a good "home base".
We'll need members to help save tables while others are strolling around. It's a great place for watching the white linen tide flowing down White Oak Drive,
The free shuttle pick up and drop off is nearby (if it's the same as last year.)
