Do you crave platonic touch, cuddles, or massage? What kind of touch would you like to give? or receive? or say "no" to? Join us for an afternoon of sensual connection, in a safer space. WHAT TO EXPECT No touch is required, or expected at any time! We have a cozy space for those that would prefer observe, or take a break from receiving. We call this the "solo salon," and it's worth checking out! We will practice consent, and how to give and receive the word "no", to create a safer space. We'll also learn cuddle etiquette, and how to ask for what you want. There are lots of options for touch, like hand-holding, massages, caresses, hair-playing, spooning, etc. We will practice some of these too (if it is within your boundaries)! Remember, you may exit at any time! SCHEDULE: • 2:30PM Arrive, relax, chat & eat • 3:00PM Get to know each other, communication exercises. (Doors close at 3:10pm). Please be sure to leave yourself lots of time to arrive and park so you won’t be on the wrong side of the door!) • 4:00PM Cuddle lab • 6:00PM Closing circle REGISTRATION: Suggested donation $15 or $10 with a potluck item SP805 volunteer scholarship available, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. WHAT TO WEAR? Dress comfortably - think soft and cozy. Pajamas, t-shirts, sweatpants, leggings, tank tops, and shorts all work well. You are welcome to change clothes when you arrive. Hygiene is important at cuddles - it's easier to get close that way! (Note: come free of perfumes, colognes, and cigarette smoke. Some of us have sensitive noses - thanks!) WHAT TO BRING? Bring a healthy snack or drink to share (Nothing too pungent). No alcohol, please. Optional: Bring a pillow or blanket or something snuggly. INTOXICANTS Please arrive and remain sober throughout the event. You may find yourself getting a natural high on oxytocin - often called the "hug hormone." GETTING UP AND DOWN Our event space is covered with cushions on the floor and most of our exercises are on those cushions. If you are concerned about your ability to get up and down from the floor to a standing position, please contact us to discuss accommodation: [masked] GUIDELINES These guidelines are like the “etiquette of cuddling." We’ll go over them and answer any questions you have during the cuddle. * There’s no touch ever required. * You can change your mind at any time. * Respect the boundaries of others (ideally with enthusiasm). * Keep touch "Rated G" and stay dressed. * Ask and Wait: If you want to touch someone, ask. Then wait for their answer. * Respect the confidentiality of others. This event is mentored by Cuddle Sanctuary. For free lessons, visit http://www.CuddleSanctuary.com/
