Amaterasu, the beautiful Japanese Goddess of the Sun radiates warmth and compassion. Her brother Susano-O, the Storm God, wreaks havoc while leaving a wake of confusion and chaos. Her other brother Tsukiyomi, the Moon God is the ruler of the night. In a delicate balance, they are obligated to share the power of governing the universe. The legend of Amaterasu reveals struggles between the siblings until an act of cruelty perpetrated by Susano-O forces Amaterasu to flee and hide. Minister Loret Farris of the Universal Life Church comes from a large, loving family and since childhood she wanted to explore the Divine, human nature, different techniques of healing and the metaphysical. Her curiosity guided her to many varied paths.
She has done in depth studies on the Tarot, Runes, Oracle cards, Crystals, Sigils, Wiccan and Goddess ritual, Wards, Candle and Water Magick, Magickal Alphabets, Pendulums, Dowsing Rods, House Blessings and clearings, among other subjects.
• She also studied the energy patterns of the human body, chakras and Aura through hands on healing techniques, including massage and Reiki.
• For over four years, she has been a presenter at Joy Reichard’s “In Her Name” circles. Loret’s lectures include “The Bee and the Goddess”, “ABC’s of Ritual” and she has led the November Gratitude “In Her Name” circles for the last three years.
•She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Transpersonal Psychology at Sophia University.
• She is a lead Paranormal Investigator with Elizabeth Barton’s EMS Energy Movers and Shakers section of the Paranormal Healing Society. Only individuals who have completed Barton’s yearlong metaphysical course are permitted in this specialized group.
Loret’s connection with the Divine and her most sincere wish to help people in various ways, women in particular, is her ongoing mission in life. In her spare time, she loves to paint, draw and bead. She’s been involved in a loving relationship with her husband of twenty seven years whose healthy skepticism reminds her to be heedful as he continues to support her evolving journey.
