We will take a deep dive into a sample 3-tier application. We will start with a javascript front end, connected to a .NET core api that is backed with a Java Spring data service. First, we Containerize each application tier and then we prepare it for kubernetes deployment. We will run the application stack locally with Docker Desktop for Mac/Windows to test the new K8s application. Finally, we will prepare the application for deployment to a test cluster with an NGINX ingress controller with Layer 7 routing.

We encourage attendees to bring a laptop and follow along using Docker Desktop.
