Docs and Hackers is a place where doctors and medical professionals meet technology builders and other ecosystem players to create solutions together.
This meetup is a forum for participants to share new ideas, get feedback, partner with each other, and form teams for new ventures, side projects or perhaps, a research paper. India has yet to experience the full extent to which technology can improve healthcare delivery, affordability as well as accessibility.
We aim to accelerate our trajectory towards this future by increasing connections between physicians and builders.

Dear Friends, It's been a while since we met. Much has been progressed since we last met. Many of the ideas and concepts lit up our grey matter and some of these actually did bear the fruits. This time we meet we are hoping that some of us showcase things that have come out of this meet up into a reality. One such product is Sreeju Patient based medical record system. Look forward to hearing from you all and meeting up soon to share more.
Jonathan Weiner A Great Biologist in his book Time, Love, Memory writes about his Quest for the Origin of Behaviour from human issues to romance, which he says are all controlled by our genes.
In this book he talks a great deal on Fruit flies and how they fit right into a rule of scientific practice that Weiner calls Occam’s Castle: “Faced with several competing places to build a new science, prefer the simplest one”
So here we are geared up for next meet up!
From the last time we met to discuss possibilities, we are now setting a platform for some interesting discussions.
This time we plan to have two brief talks (15mins each):
1) An intro to "Internet of Things" and its relevance in Healthcare
2) An intro to Cancer and its interface with health
3) Discussion on topic
4) Following this will be some networking discussions and recap on a few problems we discussed previously and progress made.
Look forward to your active participation.
