Funding for Projects and Programs: Make It Sizzle!

Capital campaigns are more than just "bricks and mortar." Perhaps your nonprofit needs new equipment, an updated office space, or a new facility to make your programs sustainable and effective.

How do you translate "programs and services" into tangible funding opportunities that tantalize your donors?

Join Avrum D. Lapin and fellow nonprofit professionals as we discuss the best ways to make a dedicated campaign (i.e. not general operating or annual support) a huge success.

From the initial steps you must take to plan for the campaign, all the way through innovative new ideas for donor recognition, this workshop will focus on strategies that can aid all sizes and styles of nonprofit organizations to achieve their dedicated campaign dreams.

Lansie and Avrum offered several specific suggestions for cultivating support, and I look forward to implementing these in my organization. The reference to "capital campaigns" may have kept some participants at bay. It's all about cultivation.

Excellent basic overview given the limited time available - very little was new to me, but well worthwhile reviewing and getting another perspective. Thanks!

Some good, basic info. Seemed to be a range of participants from those starting non-profits and having their first development director to those being in the non-profit world for years. Given the range, I thought EHL did a good job of offering basic and more specific concepts.

Illness prevents me from making it tonight. Hope the rest of you learn a lot and avoid this nasty bug!

I will be unable to make this workshop, unfortunately I am not feeling well today. It sounds fantastic and I look forward to hopefully coming to a future event.

We had an energetic group of members who asked great questions. Not as many people came for the networking from 5:30-6:00pm, so we will try to strengthen that component next month.

Is there anyone attending who will be coming through 69th street terminal into Philly to attend this event? I wanted to know if I could connect with someone who will take public transit-- I don't usually go alone into the city during evening hours.

Have you heard back from anyone? Indy Hall is a very short walk from the 2nd/Market stop on the blue line.
