I'm still new to this group, so I don't know if this has been considered 
before: Since subscriptions to each of those magazines are about $20 
each, why don't we just take up a collection ourselves?  If we sent 
subscriptions to the Ellsworth library, would the library make them 
available to the public?  Is this a money thing, or is their some 
philosophical barricade here?
