This meet up group offers you just that….the opportunity to discover Truth through meditation on the Self, which is the all-pervasive Divine Reality, the All that Is. This group offers you an opportunity to go beyond seeking to finding.

This is your ongoing invitation to join the almost weekly free Meditation Programs or Satsangs with Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati held at the Downingtown Yoga and Meditation Center in Downingtown, Pa. These free meditation programs include chanting, meditation and meditation instruction, as well as a discourse on principles of spiritual life and practice. Learn how to apply these principles to your own life, while developing your ability to look more deeply and profoundly inward, to the source of your own Being.

Swami Nirmalananda (a Self-Realized master of meditation) will make your inner exploration amazingly deep and easy. She will guide you as you bring your new sense of Self into your life…..in its fullness and wholeness.

If you have never experienced meditation, this is a perfect place to start. Once you experience meditation, you’ll want to return to the experience, again and again.

This group is for new and experienced meditators alike. Little experience is necessary to change your life, to realize That which you have always been.

Please join Swami Nirmalananda in person for our free chanting of the Shree Guru Gita, followed by a short meditation and time for journaling. Our morning chant begins at 6:15 am, one full hour of chanting in Sanskrit. The text is Shree Guru Gita, a profound experience of the ancient practice of svadhyaaya (chant) as well as an immersion into the grace-filled power of consciousness. The chant is followed by a short but sweet meditation and journaling. Please RSVP, if possible, or just show up! Please arrive about 10 minutes early so that we can help you find a comfortable seat either in a chair or on blankets on the floor. No experience necessary! All are welcome!

Swami Sunday - Chant, Meditation, Satsang, and time to connect!

Our morning chant begins at 8:30am. One full hour of chanting Sanskrit texts and mantra! The text is Shree Guru Gita, a profound experience of the ancient practice of Svadhyaaya (chant) as well as an immersion into the grace-filled power of consciousness. The chant is followed by a meditation and time to journal and a short tea and stretch break. Then Satsang begins at 10:15 am with chanting and meditation led by Swami Nirmalananda, as well as a discourse on the principles of spiritual life and practice. Her teachings help you make sense out of your life and they help to open the doorway to deep inner experiences. Our program ends about 12:00 pm with darshan, an opportunity to come forward for a private moment with Swamiji, wordless or with your questions or a report on your life and your state. She's always delighted to have this sweet encounter with you. There is also a Hospitality Time available with tea and snacks and an opportunity to connect with other meditators from the area. Come for the whole morning or just the part that works for you: 8:30-10:00am - Sri Guru Gita and Meditation 10:00-10:15am - Tea and Community 10:15 am - 12:00 pm - Satsang and Darshan with Swamiji. Satsang: Free Meditation Program Our free meditation program features chanting and meditation, meditation instruction, as well as a discourse on principles of spiritual life and practice. Learn from the ancient sages and how to apply their insights to our modern life, while developing your ability to look more deeply and profoundly inward, to the source of your own Being. Satsang can change your life! Bring your meditation journal, if you have one. Experienced and novice meditators welcome and supported. Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes early so that we can help you set up a comfortable seat in a chair or on the floor.......whichever you prefer.
